I just made this today, as soon as UPS delivered my final ingredient, Dr. Bronner’s baby-mild castile soap. I used sweet almond oil and lavender EO as my other options. I also made a white vinegar/lemon juice/filtered water rinse that I did not rinse out afterwards. I have to tell you that I have been using Wen for over six months and I love it, but it is VERY expensive. I hated the idea of going without my Wen and settling for the typical shampoos of my past, but I was having a hard time justifying the price. I am so glad I came across this DIY recipe! I LOVE it and my hair loves it, too! I have very long hair and I don’t use styling products, blow dryers or curling irons on it. After my hair dried naturally and I brushed it out, it felt so soft, smooth, and thick, and looked shiny and healthy. I can now happily substitute this recipe for Wen as my regular shampoo. Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you!
