  1. I have an ant problem every year, as well. They get annoying, but most annoying to me is the possibility that I may end up killing them through drowning when I wash dishes. I prefer to live in harmony with other sentient creatures, not to destroy them. Some cultures put a bowl of sugar out for the ants to enjoy, then every morning just take the ants outside. I haven’t tried that yet, but I might. If I can keep ants from coming in, better, but I have no desire to actually kill them.
    If you ask me, I would say ants also have a human problem. We share habitat these days. Just because we don’t like something or someone doesn’t mean we have to kill.
