  1. Where did you buy these containers? They’re perfect! Thanks for sharing!

  2. i was trying to find out about the aloevera gel as well how do i get theses recipes

  3. Thanks for sharing this recipe, and the great resource for herbs over at etsy. I just ordered a whole bunch! I think I have everything I need to make this vaporub, though, and am going to try it tomorrow. Thanks again.

  4. The containers are basic canning jars– but save your old jars, they work just as well– even Altoids tins (they’re food safe & after a clean & dry, they’re excellent for salves. Even quicker make an herbal oil that works better than any vaporub bought from the store: get a half-pint jar, fill with good olive oil & add a few drops of essential oils: 10-15 of each peppermint & eucalyptus, 5 drops of rosemary & lavender, and if you have it, 5 drops of thyme oil. If you have white camphor use 1 drop, it’s strong. You don’t need the beeswax unless you want a salve. A few drops of the oil on a washcloth that you hang in a steaming shower also helps open up the lungs.

  5. I was thinking of using coconut oil instead of beeswax. What do you think?
